Cosmos is an installation of five groupings of over 300 small hand-formed and wrapped paper mache and mixed media pieces. The large, dark walls of the de Young Kimball Gallery inspired the space derived comet, planet and star-like groupings of this piece. The title refers to both the larger whole and the small elements that make up our universe.
