Spiral was created for the Oxnard College students as a meditative installation in the house-turned-gallery. It used some of the 300 pod and cocoon forms which have been used in multiple installations, each of which responds to their site.
Glyphs were constructed as part of a continuing series of visual language forms inspired by ancient petroglyphs. They are small sculptural drawings, and they reflect on the inaccessibility of knowing the past, while still feeling strongly connected to it. The Oxnard College Gallery recessed alcove space inspired this new set of glyphs.
